Toby's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Toby's Story...
We are looking for a foster or adopter. Toby is a very sweet and gentle six year old cocker spaniel rescued off the streets of downtown LA. He was in terrible shape when we got him but after six weeks of care he is doing so much better. Still dealing with a bacterial skin infection but that's all. He cannot be neutered until it is cleared up. He a easy going calm and well behaved. Good with all dogs and people. No cats. Weighs 30 pounds. Loves walks and being with someone. Great companion dog. Would be a good dog to take to work. Special boy needs a special home. Vaccinated and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Santa Monica Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
