Fiona is a pit bull terrier mix, about 3 years old and weighing 55lbs with a heart of gold! Fiona loves people and is friendly to everyone she meets. She is generous with the kisses and hugs and greets everyone she meets with a full-body wiggle of joy. She is dog door potty-trained and knows the 'sit' command well and will sit for treats and affection.
Fiona shares her foster home with other small dogs - dachshunds and chihuahuas - and is excellent with all. But she would rather be in a home with bigger dogs to run and play. This beauty can't wait to meet you!
If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Fiona is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
