for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Marcie's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Marcie's Story...
Marcie is a super mom. She nursed her own 4 kittens as well as 6 others! Marcie is a quiet girl who enjoys petting and being brushed. Marcie has limited vision probably due to a virus. She has been evaluated by our eye specialist and is being treated and it appears that her eyesight has improved. She navigates around the adoption center using her whiskers and other senses. She would enjoy a quiet home hanging out on a cat tree or on the sofa with you.
Marcie is approximately 2 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marcie, a San Leandro Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Leandro, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Leandro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Leandro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Leandro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Leandro paves the way for another one to be saved.
