My name is Zilli!

Shepherd (Unknown Type) Mix Dog for adoption in Yukon, Oklahoma - Zilli

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Zilli's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Zilli's Story...
Nice calm girl. During the cat test, she was somewhat interested in the kitties, but didn't seem to want to hurt them. Always use supervision with animals that don't know each other, but she looks like she'll be fine with cats. Good with other dogs as well.

Update 3/2016: Zilli is approximately twelve years old, and has been with us for EIGHT of those years! She is one of our extra special office dogs, and we spoil her as much as we can, but it's not like having a home. Please consider adopting this now senior girl!

Zilli has a mentor that spends time with her on long walks each week. This is what she says about her, "Zilly, silly Zilly is what I call her, is the sweetest dog. She is gentle, easy to walk, loves to be loved on and petted—truly a sweetheart. When she and I walk, she will go anywhere just to get to be outside and with a person. Sometimes she likes to sit a while out on our walks just to be in the moment. She also enjoys going to the doggie park to run free for a while. I would love to see her find her forever home—Zilly gets along with people and other dogs, is crate trained"

Adoption fee $120

Zilli has received a monthly sponsorship from Dee Ross. Thank you so much Dee for your loving support!

HELP!!! We need canned dog food for our puppies, seniors with few teeth, and our adult finicky dogs. They usually like Pedigree, but we will take anything!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zilli, a Yukon Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Yukon, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Yukon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yukon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yukon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yukon paves the way for another one to be saved.
