Spike's Story...
Spike is a very special boy. He was adopted by a family from our local animal shelter. He lived with this family and their two kids for over a year. Spike was a happy boy. Loved his kids. He had a very good life. A few months ago his owners decided to give him up. Said the neighbors cat did not get along with him. So they say they re-homed him, but can't remember to who. Spike got loose from wherever he was and ended up back at our local animal shelter. After living in a home with a family for a year, we could not let him stay in the shelter. We have Spike in a foster home with a small dog. They do quite well together. He is playful and submissive. And like all Bully Breeds, he is a goofy boy. He loves to play, craves attention, and most of all, would love a home with a kid or two. He is also quite the snuggler and couch potato. This guy is perfect and really needs a home fast. If you are interested in meeting Spike, please go to www.cgfreck.com and fill out our adoption application. The application must be filled out completely for consideration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a Wartrace American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wartrace, or seeking a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wartrace.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wartrace already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wartrace breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wartrace paves the way for another one to be saved.
