Edison's Story...
Edison would make a great family dog, he is great on a leash, doesn't pull just looks back at you to make sure you are still there. He doesn't jump up on you either, Edison has a mentor that visits him each week for long walks and lots of TLC. Please consider adopting one of our senior dogs, they have so much love to give and are past the wild puppy stage .

Edison has a mentor that spends time with him each week. This is what she says about him, "Eddy is Mr. Personality. He is so happy and loves to go on walks. He likes to stop every so often so you can scratch him and love on him. He enjoys hugs. Eddy is crate trained, but now spends most of his time outside in the big yard. He was brought in years ago with a broken shoulder. He had been hit by a car. I helped work with him so he could get healed and find his forever family. He is such a sweetheart. I hope he can find family love soon."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Edison, a Yukon Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Yukon, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Yukon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yukon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yukon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yukon paves the way for another one to be saved.
