Squirtle's Story...
Hello, I'm "Squirtle" and I'm a rottweiler blend male. I'm a young adult around 2 years old and am pretty stressed being at the shelter. I would like to find a home with previous dog experience and if there are any kids in a potential home for me, I would like to meet them beforehand. I am good with other large dogs, but haven't been leash trained so leash greets aren't possible. I do well with fence greets though I am great with other large dogs in the play yard. I may be a bit pushy with small dogs. I may chase a cat if it ran and would like further supervision with cats in a home with cats. I will need continued training to learn appropriate leash skills and will need someone patient and understanding with me. Please don't pass me by just because I may need a little more work than other dogs from the start. I am sure to make someone a great companion!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Squirtle, a Twin Falls Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Twin Falls, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Twin Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Twin Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Twin Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Twin Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
