My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jonah/Bob! He's an energetic 1.5 year old Black Lab mix. Jonah was recently adopted and returned because he was too active and mouthy with the children in the family. He's a good boy but it's best if Jonah were in an adult household or one with teenagers. Jonah likes other dogs but plays a little rough and has never interacted with cats. Jonah needs some guidance and training. He already knows some basic commands and is a great co-pilot in the car. An active family with a fenced in yard would be great for him. You have to love Jonah, he's an Ohio State fan! Jonah/Bob is currently in a foster home. Please call the shelter at 440-322-4321, if you would like to make an appointment to see him.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
