Ricky's Story...
Ricky
DOB: May of 2016.
Adoption fee: $100.00
Arrived in July of 2016.

Ricky is a young male. Ricky is a little shy to new environment but warms up pretty quick. He loves to run and play with his siblings. Two kittens are always more fun, and we do offer special adoption fees for more than one kitten or cat. Ricky might be best suited in a home with less commotion. He is very social, friendly, and is fond of one on one attention.

*All HSSCM animals have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and are microchipped.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricky, a Battle Creek Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
