Liz's Story...
**Liz is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $200, which helps cover her flight to her new family, a travel kennel, and she is vetted. **

Liz was a stray found on the streets of Houston. All of Liz’s litter mates were adopted because they were different colors. This sweet girl deserves a home of her own and we know that someone out there will love her stunning black coat! Unfortunately black cats are always the last to be adopted and the most euthanized color in shelters. Please consider adopting a black kitten or cat. They are just as sweet, loving, playing and make amazing furbabies!

We believe she is about 4 months old, good with other cats and learning to accept dogs. She loves attention, loves to run and play and once she settles down she is a snuggle bug!

**Liz is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV Negative, Dewormed and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at for more information. Her out of state adoption fee is $200 to help cover the cost of her airline flight and travel crate.**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liz, a Manchester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Manchester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Manchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
