Pepper is sweet and shy 8 yr. old beagle.   Her human companion of many years passed away and Pepper went to live with another family member but unfortunately, the family member is now unable to care for her due changes in the living situation. So, Pepper is now looking for a new forever home.

She's a very polite girl who can be trusted to have free run of the household with no problems. She's house-trained and uses a doggie door at her foster home. She is also willing to be kenneled if needed.   She is learning to play with her foster beagle companions and gets along well with them, but would be just as happy being an "only" beagle, too.

She has had a lot of changes in her life lately so she is a little shy getting to know you, but if you are willing to be a little patient, she is very lovable. She wants nothing more than to sit next to you on the sofa and cuddle. She is a quiet beagle so would do well living in a situation where quiet is appreciated. She loves to go for walks and is a very well-behaved passenger on car rides. She is okay with kids, but can be a little timid if they are too lively or loud.   She will be a great companion for adults or families with older children.
