Charlene is a two-year-old, female, Shar Pei/Husky Mix. She is extremely loyal to her person, and would be the protector of the home. She does bark at strangers and it takes her a few minutes to warm up to new people, especially men. Charlene is an affectionate, loving girl. She absolutely LOVES giving kisses. She gets along perfectly with all of her foster siblings, canine and feline, male and female. She is great with kids of all ages. Charlene is completely house trained, and has zero chewing or other destructive tendencies, so she has completely free reign of the home. She will lay in her bed, but if you try and cuddle her, she tends to relocate, proving that while affectionate, she's also extremely independent. Most of the time, she simply prefers to sleep on a bed on the floor, beside her foster Mom's bed. Charlene LOVES nature and going on adventures! Her favorite hobbies include visiting the dog park, swimming in local rivers and hiking. For this reason, we are looking for an adoptive individual or family that loves adventures as well! She is extremely obedient, and never strays out of sight. Although Charlene loves adventures, she truly is pretty mellow in the home. Charlene is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations.
