Well. hello there! My name is Sparrow, as in 'Jack Sparrow' because there is a little of a Caribbean pirate in me. Except technically I should be Jacquelyn Sparrow. You see, I am a gray tabby DSH little girl who was born in April 2016 with an eye that never fully developed. That's what the specialist vet at Gulf Coast Animal Eye Clinic told me. Not only does it not bother me, but it doesn't slow me down a bit! I run and jump and play like any other happy kitten my age. In fact, I can be like the energizer bunny at times and just play with other cats for hours!
I hope that my undeveloped eye doesn't bother you either, especially if you're looking for a little kitten with a BIG personality, because that's me!! Whether it's a cat, dog, or human, I consider everyone a playmate. I can play a little rough at times, so a home without small children would be best.
I also have a charming language of my own, which consists of many different sounds whether I'm playing or, at times, even when you are just holding and petting me. I can chirp. I can squeak. I can purr like a perking coffeepot. I've got quite a sweet vocabulary to communicate how happy I am. But then again, what do you expect from such a sweet, affectionate bundle of love like I am?
If you are looking for a special kitten with loads of personality to add to your family, then I'm your gal. I'm counting on your wanting to adopt a one-eyed pirate of a kitten -- and your overlooking my slight imperfection. You will be my hero if you do. Then I'll let you in on a big secret -- I'll tell you where you can find the hidden treasure!
Sparrow is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. Her adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Sparrow, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.

About Buster's Friends

About Our Rescue Group...

Buster’s Friends was created in memory of Jennifer Fields. Jennifer spent countless hours rescuing and fostering hundreds of Houston’s homeless animals prior to losing her battle to cancer in May 2009. As a tribute to Jennifer and her dedication, we named the group after her beloved dog Buster, who made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge in August 2008.
