Noel's Story...
DOG OF THE DAY!!!

Noel is a sweet little Rat Terrier mix that was surrendered to us when her family could no longer care for her! She's 3 years old and around 12-15lbs. She's a very sweet girl, but is timid around new people! If you approach her to quickly she will become frightened! She will bark at first and then instantly start licking you! She is great with other animals! We haven't had her around young children may not be the best fit for her. She's housebroken and will use a doggy door! She's utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and spayed

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noel, a Grand Bay Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
