My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Asia. 9 year old female Shih Tzu/possible Affenspincher mix. Up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped. Housetrained. Adoption fee $150.00

Due to the high volume of emails received, we recommend you visit our website and fill out an adoption application. This does not obligate you to adopt, it just helps us determine if a certain dog is a good fit for your household. Adoption applications can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Thank you!

Asia came to us in pretty rough shape. She's doing much better now! She is a very low maintenance doggie. She loves blankets and will snooze on anything soft she can find! She's 100% housetrained. She does great with other dogs. She hasn't been around cats, but I don't see her having any problems at all with them. She has limited eyesight and hearing, so a home without small children will be best. She doesn't have any separation anxiety as far as if you have to leave her alone in the house. Now, when it's bedtime, she would prefer to lay in her dog bed on the floor next to your bed. If you can deal with an occasional doggie snore, we can't see that being a problem. Asia does enjoy her sleep, but will dance around a little bit after her frequent naps! She's pretty independent and not much of a lap dog. She prefers to be on fluffy blankets on the floor instead of furnitiure. If you are looking for a quiet and easy dog, Asia might be the one for you!
Please note that Asia has been diagnosed with dry eye and will require medicated drops in her eyes every day for the rest of her life.
