Banjo is a handsome Puggle with lots of attitude; while he might be a small dog he is large in his mind. He came from a kill shelter with a string embedded in his neck so we expect he was quite neglected as a puppy and had to have a big attitude to get to us. He is a great dog at home but doesn't get to our meet and greets because he likes to bark at dogs and people he doesn't know, strange as he loves meeting people and getting attention.

He is a love to his foster parents and gets along with the other dogs in his foster home, all sizes and ages. He is good with house training but needs to be out several times a day. He just wants to be able to devote himself to his family and take care of them so he can be a happy guy the rest of his life.

His approx. DOB is 10.2012; he is fully vetted, microchipped, neutered and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting me please go to and fill out an application on me. I would love to see some applications with my name on it!

About Hillcrest Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Hillcrest Animal Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to saving as many homeless, neglected and abused animals as our resources allow. All of our rescues are placed in loving foster homes and receive thorough medical care. Each companion animal is heartworm tested and treated if positive; placed on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention; altered and micro chipped. Every animal receives a full complement of vaccines depending on risk and immune status. Chronic pain is not acceptable with animals in our care. We will take whatever measures are necessary to ensure that all of our animals are living free of pain and disease. To summarize our belief in veterinary care, any animal at Hillcrest Rescue receives the same level of veterinary care as if she or he were the only animal we have.
