Greta's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Greta's Story...
Greta was found at our feral colony. She walked right up to the colony caretaker and rubbed on her legs, purring. She is such a love bug, and showers our volunteers with hugs and head bonks! She was battling gingivitis and had no upper canine teeth. She received a dental procedure, and had all of the teeth on the left side of her mouth removed. She still begs for crunchy treats and chows down on hard kibble! She does amazing with other cats of all ages, but is not a big fan of dogs.
Greta is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, and current on flea/tick preventative.
If you are interested in adopting Greta, please visit our website, achanceforlove.org, and complete the adoption application. For more information on Greta, please contact us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Greta, a North Haven Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Haven, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in North Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
