Sasha's Story...
Say hi to sweet & loving Sasha! This yellow Labrador mix was rescued from a very abusive home, but she hasn’t let that darken her personality. At 33 pounds, this healthy year and half old acts pretty much like your typical lab, in other words she loves to play. Sasha is not food or toy aggressive, and LOVES to play with other dogs and children.
Sasha will cuddle up next to you and sleep as your cuddle buddy if you let her, and she is also perfectly happy in her kennel. You will find Sasha to be the cutest addition to your family when you see her sleeping upside down with her feet in the air, or hopping around like a bunny at play. Sasha will make a great addition to any active family, but especially a family with kids.
Sasha is fully vetted, spayed, & microchipped, and currently has no medical issues. Sasha is waiting to be a member of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Houston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
