Sherman's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sherman's Story...
Sherman is a young Yellow Lab mix, sweet high energy dog, good with other animals. Sherman is a goofy young boy about 1.5 years old. Sherman has shown a few signs of food aggression so we are not placing him with kids under 12 years of age. He would do great with an active family or a runner or hiker. He did come from our local shelter so we do not have a lot of history on Sherman. To meet Sherman contact Sabine at aphapaints@yahoo.com Neutered, shots, microchipped. Adoption fee does apply for Sherman so we can continue to save dogs in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherman, a Reno Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Reno, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Reno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reno paves the way for another one to be saved.
