Their really loving and caring owner fell on hard times and continued to keep their care as number 1 priority until they just couldn't do it any longer and surrendered them to the local county shelter. The shelter saw immediately how attached they are to one another and reached out to SAAP to give them the only chance at being kept together.
And that is exactly what we will do! SAAP is looking for a special adopter that will adopt them both and love them furever!
Mason is an 8 year old Boxer and is so incredibly handsome and sweet. A perfect leash walker, crate trained and house broke. He lists scratches, bath time, lots of snacks and car rides as his favorite activities. And did I mention how handsome he is!
Gracie is a 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier who loves to lay in your lap and get scratches behind the ear. She has perfected the head tilt when you talk to her and loves to weave in, under and around Mason during walks. She is excellent in her crate and house broke too. Gracie doesn't care for other dogs as much as she cares for Mason but has been very tolerating in her foster home with the other resident dogs. I have heard that Gracie is not a fan of cats but both are great with kids.
They both have a low activity level and love to lounge, take breaks, naps and snuggle.
Do you have room in your house and home for these two sweethearts? They are currently breaking hearts and taking names and applications at www.saap.dog
SAAP dogs and puppies are vet checked, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and given flea and heartworm preventatives as age appropriate.
