Jackson's Story...
Hello, my name is Jackson! I’m told that I am a very sweet and loving guy. I get along very well with everyone; dogs, cats and people (both young and old). I tend to be a little shy at first but warm up very quickly to everyone I meet. My temporary foster family says I am the sweetest dog they have had the pleasure of having in their home. I am housebroken, playful but not destructive, and LOVE to cuddle with my people. Please give me a chance, you will not regret it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Houston Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
