found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.
Jim had several lumps removed prior to entering foster care with GRFR. His foster mom is working diligently with him to gain a bit of weight and he's gained 5 pounds so far. About a week after his arrival in foster care he had 2 grand mal seizures. He also was having focal facial seizures. He was evaluated by a vet neurologist and no reason was found for the seizures. He is currently on medication every 12 hours for the seizures and has had none since. In screening for the seizures he was found to have a mass on his adrenal gland. He does not have Cushing's disease but the vets aren't sure if the mass is cancerous or benign so it will need to be followed up in several months to see if it is increasing in size. Jim's anti seizure meds run approx. $60 per month.
Jim would do best in a home that does not have an overly playful dog. He looks like he'd like to play, but his foster sister has a tendency to bowl him over as she is quite energetic. We don't know his history around children, but think he'd do best in a home without young, lively children.
If you are interested in adopting this handsome, gentleman of a senior boy please contact GRFR.
