LYRIC is everything you could want in a family dog! She is beautiful, affectionate, loyal, and outgoing. She is the perfect mix of snuggle and play. She loves to curl up an watch a movie, take a nap in a human's lap, or take a lounge next to one of her fur siblings. She also adores playing inside or out. She is all smiles on car rides so she would be a great companion for all life's adventures! She would do well as a hiking or jogging buddy, but this certainly isn't required. LYRIC takes the term well socialized to a whole new level! She lives in a foster home with 2 children and other dogs. The other pups in her foster home are a senior greyhound, an adult rottweiler, an adult bulldog mix, and a 2 year old lab/Anatolian shepherd mix. She gets along nicely with everyone but her best girlfriends are the bulldog mix and the lab mix. Her foster mom also has horses and goats so she has been exposed to both. LYRIC behaves in her crate while her foster mom is at work and also knows not to potty in the house. This one year old girl is lucky enough to have an awesome foster mom who has started basic obedience training with her! She is super smart and wants to please her humans more than anything in the whole world. LYRIC is deaf, but she doesn't let that hold her back in the least. She loves life, loves to learn, and most of all loves to share her heart and puppy kisses with all she meets. This special girl will definitely bring a lifetime of happy memories to her forever family!
LYRIC is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes an interstate health certificate and transport to New England.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
