He enjoys lots of activities like long walks, being a running partner and car rides (to other places to take walks), so it would be good if he could be with a home that has an active lifestyle.
However, he mostly just wants your affection and to just hang out with you. When encountering new people, animals and things, he responds to them like a shy, young puppy until he is able to process and warm up to the new person or adjust to the new setting.
He would best be in a home as the only dog to get all the attention or with another female as he does not get along with other male dogs with strong personalities.
Astro currently knows the "sit" command very well and is working on his "downs" and "stays" and appears to be house trained and crate trained. He walks well on lead, but pulls when he's excited to be outside on a walk.
