Goose aka Apollo's Story...
Big, goofy and loving! My real name is Apollo and yes, I know it! I was accidentally chased out of my yard and then picked up by animal control. Human dad came for me but in learning I am HW+, he knew he could not afford to medically treat me. Bummer! I have experience in raising kids 8, 7 and 1 yrs old and also sharing my life with 3 other large dogs. I have not spent much time with small dogs…so not so sure how I am with them but I can tell you I am not a good choice for cats. Most days, I would hang out in the yard with the other dogs and on rare occasion I would be allowed inside. That was a lot of fun for me! My doggy dad was a Great Pyrenees and mom a blue pit. I'm a family guy inside and out and sure hope I can be soon put back to work for some nice, loving family! 2-4 years, 70 lbs, heartworm positive

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
