Lewis's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lewis's Story...
Dashing Lewis has just one problem, he's all dressed up in his red bow tie but has nowhere to go. He's hopeful that you can help him with that though, and maybe take him home with you! Unfailingly jolly, good natured, and affectionate- in other words, the kind of dog you can't help but love! Lewis is a medium sized 1 year old boy and has lots of energy to burn which makes him and excellent hiking, jogging, or adventuring buddy. He has been tested around kitties and would be fine with a feline companion. Lewis is eager to please and would do great in an active home who can give him a little guidance. Lewis would love to cuddle and give kisses in between adventures. His favorite things include comfy beds, exercise, and belly rubs. If you are looking for a new family member, look no further than this silly, tail wagging boy who will bring you years of fun and companionship. And as an added bonus, Lewis is already neutered and ready to go home with you today! 1 year, 45.8 lbs,

Act quickly to adopt Lewis. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lewis, a Darlington Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
