Attention! KAI here!
I am am a daughter of Yoshi, my birthday was June 23rd, 2016 at the IVHS shelter together with my 4 siblings. We are Yorkie/Chihuahua mix puppies, all happy, healthy kids - the whole crew ;) Kenji, Nori and Yuki are boys, Kai and Sushi are girls.
The meaning of my name is: Strong, unbreakable - Hold on and treat me gentle and kind please.
Our rescue is taking applications on us now, we are ready for our own homes at August 19th, then we are 8 weeks old! Since we are just babies, we require a super clean environment, school age children ONLY. Clean hands are imperative, along with no shoe or wire chewing, no outdoor walks or public environments or grass that exposes us to viruses like parvo.
We are tiny, only 3 to 4 lbs. Our mom doesn't look anything like us - She is black/silver/grey in color and looks like a Yorkie. We don't know who our baby daddy was... he left the scene after he and mom partied one night... so here we are! All of us - adorable babies who were saved when we were just 5 days old from the shelter with mommy. We are precious and require patience, love and understanding with lots of training. We are a long term commitment and a lot of work for the first year but will reward you with love and loyalty for a lifetime! Please don't apply unless you can commit to caring for and training me and my siblings.

Requirements for Adoption:
There should be another dog in the family, we believe that every dog should have a buddy and here you can read about the benefits: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/articles/seconddog.htm
The dogs are inside dogs and family members, the adopter has a secure fenced yard to exercise and play in. Children should be school-aged or older, no toddlers.
KAI's adoption fee is $300 and includes: Spay, Microchip, Rabies, Vaccinations, Deworming, Preventive treatment against fleas/ticks and internal parasites, Grooming.
If you are offering a loving home for KAI and maybe one of her siblings, please use contact info to inquire and receive an application to complete and return it with photos / video of your yard, perimeter on fencing and gates prior to schedule a meet and greet. Application receipt is not approval for adoption. All applications will be reviewed by the board of directors for approval.
