Demaris's Story...
My name is Demaris and I'm a beautifully marked cow kitten. I was born around the end of April 2016. I came into foster care with many other kitties, from a not so great situation, which included many cats and kittens in a home. I'm very happy here, even though I have to share my foster people with younger kittens who came in with me. I'm very loving both to people and other kitties in the household. I'm a very gentle, sweet, laid back, female kitty who would love a home of my own either with one of the kittens I came in with or with an existing kitty one might already have. I am litter box trained. I am FIV,FELV, and HW negative. I have had a flea and worming treatment. I have age appropriate shots. My spay surgery only, (done at a local veterinarian practice) is included in my adoption fee. Please consider adopting me.
Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Demaris, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
