Cookie is a 10 year old Cocker Spaniel mix with her full natural tail. She was turned into an animal shelter as a stray, but had owner information connected to her microchip. Her family was notified by mail and phone, but they chose not to respond.
We were notified by the shelter staff, in hopes that we would consider her. She is a very beautiful dog, but even during the "clear the shelters" event, everyone passed her by.
And though she is 10 years old, Cookie has plenty of spunk and energy. If we had to guess her age, we would have thought she is closer to 5-6 years old. A very sweet and well behaved dog. Not too much bothers her. Her only real quirk is that she prefers to be an only dog.
Cats are not a problem. She does seem house trained, is crate trained and is very well behaved while inside her foster home.
A beautiful and healthy dog with a very kind spirit. Spunky enough to enjoy daily walks and activities with her family, yet calm enough to be the perfect couch potato pal!
