"I need a tender, loving family to call my own!"
Adonis needs your love and patience to nurse him back to health and be the best dog he can be. A somewhat independent dog, he is currently foster care due to a severe back injury. Luckily, he is taking medicine for the pain.
You know when you are sick or hurt and feel kind of crabby? Well, that is how Adonis sometimes feels. His activity level right now is low, and he really isn't interested in being picked up or touched. For this reason, he's not very social and doesn't like to play with other pets.
When he is in a good mood, he will thank you for your love and care, by rubbing on your tummy or arm. When this handsome little guy is having a good day, he enjoys playing tug with his furry, squeaky toys.
A well-trained dog, Adonis is house-trained and takes commands well. He is also great on his leash.
The ideal forever home for him is one without small children. Adonis needs an adopter who understands that recovery can be a slow, nurturing process. Getting this boy nursed back to health must be the main priority.
When you look into his adorable face, his eyes tell you he needs you to protect him and give him a chance to shine! Once he is back to 100%, he will be your best friend for life.
Come see for yourself and meet Adonis today!
