If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Pre-Qualification Form. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
Hi, my name is Wink! I got my name because I was the last one to open my eyes and only had one eye open for the first day. Once I saw everything there was to explore, I’ve quickly caught up to my sisters and brothers and I’m now the first at everything. First to jump out of the box and first to eat dry cat food. I’m also a calico, like my sister Wicket, but my colors are a little more subtle. I on the other hand am anything but subtle.
Kitten has tested positive or has a sibling that tested positive for feline leukemia virus (FeLV). Will need to be rested at 6 month old (early Nov.) to verify status.

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
