Meet our handsome little guy Zorro! He's 5 years old. He weighs approximately 10lbs and is just a little bundle of joy. His foster mom describes this little one as someone who loves to greet each family member in the morning with lots of kisses and happy yips. He is just so affectionate and loves to be around people

Zorro enjoys sitting in laps and LOVES to go on walks. He spins around in joy and excitement when he knows it's that time of the day to go out and see the world. He is also a quick learner and eager to please.

Zorro does exhibit some fear aggression with other dogs as well as food. We don't know much about his history before coming to our rescue but whoever that is lucky enough to be this dog's human will need to be willing to work on these fear behaviors with him and understand his need for boundaries.

He was surrendered when his owner was admitted to hospice.

Zorro is crate house-trained. up to date on shots, neutered, micro chipped & ready to find his forever home. His adoption fee is $400

About Forever Home Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs visit our vet for a health screening, are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.

Interested? Send us an email at and we'll send you a foster application. It's lots of fun and you will meet lots of dogs and other people who love dogs.
