Fostered in Rathdrum, Idaho

Hi. My name is Blossom and I am a 12 year old princess who is ready to complete your life. You see, I lost my dad recently and I'm really needing someone to fill that void. I know I'm "old" but that doesn't make me less deserving of a forever home.

So far, I've done well with the dogs in my foster home, but I don't like other cats. That's okay though, right? I've done well with the kids I've been around, but they are respectful of me so please make sure that the kids are gentle. I'm mellow and like to lounge around often. I'd make an awesome companion for a senior who is lonely.

Power of the Paw has provided medical care for me to make sure I'm as healthy as I can me. My dad also sponsored my fee, so there is no fee to adopt me. If you would like to add me to your family and give me a great rest of my life, go to adopt/ cat-adoption-application/  and fill out the application! I can't wait to finally settle in!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blossom, a Rathdrum Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rathdrum, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rathdrum.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rathdrum already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rathdrum breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rathdrum paves the way for another one to be saved.
