I can just hear Frank Sinatra singing in the background, "I did it myyyyyyyy way!" Well at least I thought I heard him the first time I met Cupid. He's a special guy. Although he's young, he acts a bit like a more mature cat. He's a guy looking for a companion, not a lap. He lived in his last home for just a year until he lost it by no fault on his part. He's slow to adjust to new situations. It took 3 months for Cupid to finally accept the current house cat. It may seem like a long time to you, but actually it is quite normal. If you already have a cat and don't mind spending the time for Cupid to adjust, he might be the one for you. He didn't live with a dog in his last home and we don't know his previous living arrangements. We just don't know if he is a dog-friendly cat. One of his favorite things was sharpening his claws on the cat tree. Cupid really enjoys short periods of calm playtime. Longer playtimes can get him overstimulated. You know, like drinking 5 coffees in 30 minutes. Who wants to feel like that? For this reason, Cupid would like to live in a quiet, adult only home that has experience living with a feline. I believe when he finds his furever home, you will see him blossom into a best friend. Are you looking for an independent cat that enjoys spending time with his family? Please come visit with Cupid and find out if he's the kittyboy for you!
