Sophie is a sweet, mellow tabby of brown, grey, and black. At ten years of age, she has decided to downshift from the hustle and bustle of a busy household filled with children and pets, preferring a quiet domicile with mature, experienced human companions. While she still has a playful streak, too much activity makes her anxious, and she favors a peaceful atmosphere conducive to long naps and loving petting sessions. She enjoys snuggling in a warm lap and is very receptive to attention from people, once she has gotten to know them. In sum, Sophie is seeking a calm place to retire from the cares of a hectic world, a predictable home environment where she can feel safe, secure, and loved.

All adoptions from the Placer SPCA include spay or neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations, and a voucher for a free veterinary exam.  Please visit www.placerspca.org for more information.
