Are you looking for the perfect loyal and low-maintenance companion?  Meet Kobe who was found as a stray and rescued from the kill shelter by Lost Angels Animal Rescue, Inc who saw what a gem this sweet boy is!  Not one mess in the house since walking in the front door.  If he doesn't have access to a doggie door, he is happy to talk to you to let you know he needs to go out.  What a smartie!  He is content to chill near you while you watch TV or read and excited to be taken on adventures whether it be a walk, trip to the doggie beach, or just a simple car ride.  Kobe lived in a home with 2 other dogs, visited homes with other dogs and cats, met numerous dogs at the dog beach and hasn't meet a fellow fur-ball he doesn't get along with.  After a hard week, he sometimes get to hang out at the dog bar and is always a gracious guest getting fawned over by human patrons.  We think he may be 8-9 years old.  He may have some arthritis in his hips which is common with age range and he enjoys his omega-3 chews which are good for his hips.  Nom nom. He is currently recovering from some itchy skin and ears because it appears he didn't have care for a while.  In spite of this, he is a kind-hearted boy who is ready to be your new best friend

He is  neutered, up to date on all shots including rabies, heart worm tested (neg), micro chipped, de wormed for intestinal parasites, currently on a heart worm and flea preventative.  My adoption donation is $100.00. If you would like to learn more about me go online and email or and submit an application on line.

About Lost Angels Animal Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted dogs. We take our pets from kill shelters, owners who can longer care for them, and strays. They are completed vetted and then fostered in our homes until the perfect family can be found for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We show our adoptable dogs on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at:

13127 North Dale Mabry Highway
Tampa, FL 33618
(located at the corner of N. Dale Mabry Hwy and Fletcher Ave.)

Not every foster family has the ability to show their dogs every weekend. Please contact the foster family at the email or phone number listed in the dog's biography to find out if they will be participating at the Petco on Saturday.

Our Adoption Process...

Filling out an application is an important first step in our adoption process. These can be downloaded from our website:

Meeting the dog you are interested in, asking questions and talking with the foster parent(s) about their foster pup is the next step. (can be combined with step 1 if you meet the dog at one of our many adoption events)

The foster parent will do a thorough check of your completed application (especially vet references) and possibly do a home visit with their foster dog before making a decision on their placement. (This is not 'first come, first served'. We only complete adoptions to homes that offer what is best & needed for our foster dogs; ie. a fenced yard, someone home longer hours with the dog, etc )
