Callie loves to play, wrestle and run with the 30+ dogs she interacts with every day!! She was an owner surrender to a local shelter, and had a scary future until she was pulled by someone who saw in Callie a wonderful, friendly, and deserving dog! They took her to safety, and now she spends days in a caring doggy daycare! As of 8/5/16, she’s just under a year old, up to date on vaccinations and HW testing, and is spayed. She does wonderfully off leash and loves to play, wrestle and run around. You may notice in the photos her eyes look a little odd, she is NOT blind, but has been diagnosed with Peripheral Vision Loss.
Callie is crate trained and never uses the potty overnight in her kennel. She loves attention and pets from all the workers. She is an outstandingly sweet girl who would make a single person or family a wonderful dog, companion, and family member!
If you think your home might be the right place for such a great girl - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Callie is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
