Heeelllloooo!!!! I'm Pretty Boy and unfortunately I ended up at the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center because my owner wasn't taking very good care of me. Right now I'm just ready to find my forever family and forget about my past. The way I see it, I have a lot of things going for me....I'm young, friendly, adorable :) medium sized, and smart! A family that likes to be active and play would be so perfect for me! If you know anyone looking for a great dog like me, please tell them to come save me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pretty Boy - RESCUED!, a Zanesville Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Zanesville, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Zanesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Zanesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Zanesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Zanesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
