My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Mina. I am a petite senior lady, weighing only 15 pounds and I’m looking to be someone’s new sidekick and companion! Are you looking for that special someone to snuggle and watch a movie or hang out on the back patio or how about a country drive? You might be looking for me! Do you love to sleep in on Saturdays? Me too!! I am a low maintenance girl with good house manners. I am ok living with cats and other dogs. I would also be ok as an only pet.
One nice thing I might like in my forever home is doggie stairs to get up and down from the best snuggle spots. I have a hard time getting up and down from furniture. I also really love to rest in a doggie bed close by the humans. I know right where the best spots are where I can snooze and keep an eye out for any action I might want to investigate. I do like to tag along when a human is on the move. And I always have one ear open for any wrappers in the kitchen even if it looks like I’m sleeping!
I am in good health for an older gal. I am a heartworm survivor so it will be very important I take my monthly preventative. It’s the same thing every dog should take but for me it’s extra important. I am more of a couch potato type but I have a great time sniffing around the yard with the other beagles here. I get really excited when I smell bunnies and let the other beagles know with my Arroo!! You would be surprised, I may be a tiny girl, but I do not have a tiny voice. I do great on a leash! And I really enjoy a slower paced stroll around the neighborhood.
I am crate trained and potty trained. Foster mom thinks I would be ok with run of the house too but I wouldn’t be able to go all day long without a potty break. I am a little timid and sometimes I have separation anxiety. I need some help building up my confidence and trust in people but I do love belly rubs and ear rubs!! I have been learning I really love attention and affection from people! Now I just need a place to call home! Will it be with you?
If you think I'm the girl for you, get in contact with Midwest Brew!! My foster mom can answer any questions you have about me!
