Kali through Janet Murphy Peters This is a true California girl! She loves sun and fun. Meet Kali, short for Kalifornia. She is an Airedale mix and simply perfect. She is an ideal age for activity without puppy silliness: 7 years old and 55 pounds. Kali explores the outside world with the intensity of someone looking for buried treasure--what could the plants, sidewalk, bushes tell her? A gentle walker, but with a mission. She showed me her tricks--sit, shake, lay down. Then she proceeded to show me her skills at ball catching. She will challenge anyone to a game of tug of war or olympic volleyball. And she is nice enough to let you win.  She never dares to soil the inside of a house, and she is content when you leave to wait for the opportunity to greet you with a smile and kiss when you return. She lives temporarily with a little rascal, Biscuit, a Cairn Terrier. Pocket size explosion of dynamite, is what she calls Biscuit. What Kali needs is an adopter. She was greatly loved until her person's age meant that she could no longer care for Kali. She would love an active home, would be fine with a cat or dog pal, and will appreciate someone who gives her just a bit of time to adjust to a new family. Kali is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to meet potential adopters in So Cal. A home visit and vet reference are required.

About 4Life Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our furry friends come to us in a variety of ways – the streets/strays, owner surrenders, with most of them coming from our local shelters.

Every animal brought in to the 4Life Family is given 100% from us to ensure they are healthy and happy. Like people, no two animals are the same. More often than not, when a new animal comes to us, it takes time to learn who they are, what they like (and who they like) and do not like. We do our best to learn the animals personality, get them on the right path with good manners and basic obedience training, and nurture and love them so their little personalities can shine. There is nothing quite like a happy, healthy, well behaved rescue pet!

Our Adoption Process...

*Adoption Application
*Home check
*Adoption contract
*Non-Negotiable adoption fee ranging from $200 to $300
What the adoption fee covers:
* All medical – All 4Life animals are
up-to-date on vaccinations including Rabies, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and flea control. In certain cases, some of our rescues require an extensive amount of medical treatment to get them healthy. We will spare no expense when it comes to the health and well being of our animals. Extensive medical costs will never be passed on to the adopting family; but, your adoption fee does help us recover some of the costs.

*Supplies – Food, leash and collar, treats, blankets, toys, bathing/grooming products
*In some cases, animals may need to be boarded or go in to a training program. Again, these costs will never be passed on to the adopting family, but a portion of your adoption fee will help us recover some of the cost.
