My name, Carob, goes well with my beautiful dark coat that has a unique swirling pattern. My sister, Anise, as well as foster sisters Bess and Saffron are the only kittens remaining from our litters--our siblings have been adopted!  We are a great group of kittens and were taken in when our colonies went through Trap/Neuter/Return. That means we are the last kittens our moms and dads will have!

Out of all the kittens, I play the most aggressively. I've never seen a toy I didn't like to attack. I especially like trying to run away with wand toys that you might have in your hand! That also means that I am more independent, so need a bit more time to warm up. But food is the way to my heart! I love to eat! I used to be the smallest of my litter, but not anymore. I may have to watch what I eat when I get older, but not at the moment! You can see me playing with my foster siblings in the following videos:   At the beginning, I am playing with Saffron. Then you will see my older foster brother, Sundance watching us. Anise (Neesi) and Bess like the birdcage. Then we run (you will hear Neesi).    First you will see me on top of a kitty tree with my cousin, Saffron in the middle. I run down and up the stairs with Neesi at the bottom of the stairs. She doesn't want to come up with my foster mom taking pictures, but you get to see how pretty she is.    At the beginning, you will see Saffron run up stairs and into the living room, then back out as I run in. Neesi will come from behind a chair and you can hear her trill. Bess follows Neesi out and stands looking around.

With my higher activity level, I should not be an only kitten. I need a buddy I can play with and explore with. I am quite the jumper, so high kitty trees or other places I can climb are a must. My forever family will need to have some patience to show me they love me. Then I will be fiercely loyal...or as loyal as a kitty can be! I get along with all of my pals: Anise, Bess, and Saffron, so adopting me with one of them would be a great thing you could do for me.

About Purr-Fect Match Animal Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Mission statement:
Purr-Fect Match Animal Rescue is dedicated to the sanctity of all living things and their inherent right to a happy, healthy, and humane life.

It is our mission to 1) help people keep their pets through guidance, non-monetary support, and education, 2) provide a service to find the perfect home for homeless, transient, and transitional domestic animals, and 3) provide a limited foster home structure for abandoned domestic animals.

Our Adoption Process...

A potential adopter must complete an application. It will be sent to the Board of Directors for approval. Upon approval, a home visit is done (either with or without the animal(s)). If all goes well, the animal will stay at the home. There is a two-week probationary period where either the adoptive parents or the foster parents can determine the animal should not stay. If this happens during the two weeks, adoption fees are returned. At the time of the adoption, a contract is signed. The adopter is given a full medical history, microchip information, etc. If applicable, a microchip transfer fee will be attained. The adoption fee for a kitten is $75. Any additional kitten is $25. A cat (1 - 6 years) is $40. Additional cat (1 - 6 years) is $20. Senior cats (7 and above) are $20. Puppies (up to 1 year) are $250. Dogs (1 - 6 years) are $150. Senior dogs (7 and above) are $100. Tax of 5% will be added to all adoptions within the state of Wisconsin.
