Jerry Lee's Story...
This little fella was dumped in East Dallas. He was scared and very shy but warms up quickly. He is about 4-5 years old and is doing well in his foster home. He likes other dogs and does well around cats as well. He likes to play with toys and will find a comfy blanket to lay on in the house. He does like it better outside so we are sure he was kept outside or has been a stray for quite some time. He was found with no collar or microchip but is being updated with that today. He is a small guy and very loving. His ears perk up when you talk to him and he loves the camera. Would you like a Jerry Lee in your life? If so, please contact us here. He is being fostered in the Lakewood area of East Dallas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry Lee, a Dallas Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
