My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a recent Prison Graduate. She is a super cute one year old happy Hound mix. This gal has been trained in obedience, basic commands, manners, proper leash walking and house training. Lucy learned her lessons well. She was adopted and unfortunately returned because her owners said they just didn't have time for a dog. They didn't say anything else about her. Lucy is an energetic girl that would love an active family to call her own. She is terrified of cats and should not live with them. During her down time she's an affectionate cuddle monkey. She has had some separation anxiety in the past. It's best if Lucy were adopted into a home where someone is home much of the time. Stop by soon and see if Lucy is the girl for you.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
