Lucky is a very nice senior male yellow Labrador Retriever, 7 yrs. old, who is looking for a new family now, after his former owners had to move and couldn't bring him along...so sad. Please make Lucky feel like his name again and give him a 2nd chance at having his own family. He's a sweet, easy-going, laidback guy who just wants to hang out with you. He would do better in a home without another dog, though, but kids and cats should be fine. He's smart and well-behaved, good riding in the car, too. He's the perfect family pet! If interested in giving Lucky a home, please fill out an application at our site @www.PeisandStrays.com and click on "Adoption Application" and let's get the ball rolling for him. Please note: he is located in a foster home in VT. Lucky is neutered, current on vaccines, and housetrained.

About Peis & Strays

About Our Rescue Group...

Peis and Strays is a non-profit all-volunteer organization. It was established by a small group of individuals in the New England area with the intent of helping Chinese Shar Pei find loving homes.

Peis and Strays relies on donations, fund-raising activities and adoption fees for its income. We do not receive any state or federal funds. All donations directly benefit the dogs in our adoption program. We are a 501c3 organization, so your donations are tax deductible. We are always in need of donations and committed volunteers like ourselves. For more information about us, please email us at: info@peisandstrays.com

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter in any specific location, all of our dogs are cared for by foster families in their homes, across New England. Since the dogs are all cared for by private foster families, we ask that the adopter fill out an application before they meet a dog, to show that they are truly interested in adopting.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process includes an application (http://www.peisandstrays.com/adoptions.php), a home visit and the vet reference. Further information about our adoption policies are located at: http://www.peisandstrays.com/adoptinfo.php.
