Huxley's Story...
My name is Huxley. I'm a male, lilac lynx point Siamese mix. I arrived at the shelter on 7/29/16 as a stray from Livermore, and have been available for adoption since 8/4/16. I have been vaccinated and dewormed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia, and am already neutered and microchipped. I have tested positive for FIV, which is a feline immunodeficiency virus. I can still live a normal, happy life; but to help keep me healthy, my family will want to keep me indoors, and make sure that I get an annual check up from the vet. I'm located in cat ward G.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huxley, a Dublin Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Dublin, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Dublin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dublin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dublin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dublin paves the way for another one to be saved.
