HERSHEE's Story...

Hershee is a handsome 2 yr old Chihuahua/Dachshund boy who needs to find a new home.

His mother was taken into the shelter pregnant and was set to be put to sleep. She was rescued and gave birth to 5 puppies that were all named after candies. Hershee is the last one and his momma would love to keep him but she is elderly and already has three other dogs and cannot keep another one.

Hershee is a very sweet, well behaved little guy who is a bit shy at first in new surroundings. He has beautiful, striking coloring. He tolerates cats and is good with most other dogs and children. He loves to play with his stuffed animals and the other dogs. He is house and crate trained.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready to find his new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HERSHEE, a Forest Ranch Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Forest Ranch, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Forest Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
