Ramsey's Story...

Animal's name: Ramsey Age (years): 6 Weight (pounds): 13 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Coat: Longhair Color: Black Adoption fee: 150 This is Ramsey. He is a six year old long haired Doxie. Even though he has gray hairs on his chin, he has lots of energy. Loves to go for walks every day and explore everything. Equally spends time outdoors and indoors. While outside, he protects his yard. While inside he loves scratches and belly rubs. Tolerates bath time because he loves being dried off with the towel. Not a fan at all of cats and strange dogs. But definitely a fan of his adult humans. Hope you love kisses! Ramsey cannot live with cats. and we would prefer an experienced dachshund owner due to his forceful personality. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ramsey, a Forest Ranch Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Forest Ranch, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Forest Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
