Sisi and Napolean's Info...

I am already spayed/neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Sisi and Napolean's Story...

Animal's name: Napoleon and Sisi     Age (years): 8     Weight (pounds): 11     Spayed/Neutered: Yes     Coat: Smooth     Color: Red and Blk and Tan     Adoption fee: 300

Sisi and Napoleon have been together their whole lives. They are very bonded. Not actually littermates but half siblings. They are a sweet couple. He likes to play fetch and tear up squeeky toys and she likes to cuddle. Neither is good with cats - they are OK with other dogs. Napoleon doesnt like being picked up by his front legs - most dachshund owners wouldnt do that but just and FYI.  They are good with children as well but I dont think they should live with toddlers. They are UTD on shots and both recemtly had dentals. They are in rescue because their caregiver passed away last year.  They need a home together. They come with everything: beds, blankets, toys, leashes and two crates. The adoption is for both and might be adjusted if adopted by a senior. Go to to fill out an app and meet these two.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sisi and Napolean, a Forest Ranch Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Forest Ranch, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Forest Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
