Pixie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Pixie's Story...

This is a very 'lovey dog" and she will spend house cuddled up next to you, she loves kids, is very well behaved, is house trained and crate trained.  She is really such a good girl!

Poor Pixie has not had an easy life. She was kept outside and slept in a cold dog house. She was surrendered to a high kill shelter as her owners were moving and could not afford the pet deposit. She was rescued from the shelter only minutes from being put to sleep. She has flourished in foster care, but needs her own furever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Forest Ranch Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Forest Ranch, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Forest Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
