I'm kind of sad because no one is noticing me! I was left in a shelter when my Dad died. No one wanted me. I'm pretty laid back & don't get excited easily. I am kind of dog selective but I don't like cats. To tell you the truth, I'd rather no have to share a family with other dogs. Older kids are ok, little kids kind of scare me. I pray everyday that someone comes to visit & falls in love with me. I'm a medium size boy that loves people but can be a little timid at first. I love to play, be pet & give kisses. Do you think you can come & see me? Can you take me out back & get to know me better? I like to play ball! Maybe you will love me & want to take me home! I promise I'll be a good doggie & love you forever!

PLEASE NOTE: We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director. We do not do same day adoptions or ship animals. For additional information on our adoption policies, visiting hours and directions please go to Abandoned Pet Rescue.

About Abandoned Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Shelter...

Abandoned Pet Rescue is a 501 ( c ) (3) IRS tax-exempt, qualified charitable organization that rescues, shelters, and cares for countless abandoned and abused animals and finds them new homes. We have been serving the South Florida community since 1996. Our no-kill animal shelter is located in Ft. Lauderdale, where volunteers of all ages help perform the duties of running the shelter and our operations on a day-to-day basis, creating a mutually beneficial relationship between animals and the community. By conducting neighborhood sweeps, APR helps reduce the pet over population by spaying and neutering feral cats with the use of a mobile veterinary facility.
